Durham City Run Festival, 18th July 2024

Howard Maclennan is a regular at the Durham City Run Festival, where 5k and 10k routes weave around the centre of the city, usually taking in some cobbled stretches alongside views of the river and various landmarks, with a few hills thrown in.

Howard bettered his 2023 performance by almost a full minute in the 5k, with a swift 24:58. Sophie Richardson came in at 62:11 in the 10k.
