Trail El Castillo de las Guardas, 27th October 2024

As with our recent post re Sumanth Nayak racing in his Claremont top despite living in California, another Claremont migrant is still proudly wearing the sky blue colours on race day!

Jose Gallego may have returned to his native Spain, but he still part of the Claremont family and recently sported his Claremont vest while running a 13K trail race in Andalucia called the Trail El Castillo de las Guardas. It looks like a nice, but tough route, with a lot of ups and downs and a total climb of 428m (over 1400 feet).

I can’t find official results, but Jose’s strava shows him completing the course in 1:19:39. Well done, Jose!
