Weetslade Relay 2021 will be virtual – details out soon

The eleventh Weetslade Relay was scheduled for June 23rd 2021. The current Government Road Map led to the hope of removing all coronavirus restrictions on June 21st. However, as this was not possible, Claremont Road Runners have taken the decision to cancel the race. It would not be possible to hope to hold a traditional Weetslade Relay on June 23rd, for 300 runners, in the same format as we did in 2019.

We will be holding a repeat of the Virtual Relay we held in 2020 which attracted 196 teams.
